Introduction 01:07
The flags of man fly free above, In golden skies a-streaming. And cities dot the hill-bound moors ‘Midst verdant vistas dreaming. But caverns rive this conquered world, And lure the overweening To wind the nightmare wilds alone Into the dark careening. So hold your tread upon the path, Your boldness yet beseeming, For devils stalk these midnight shores. All tales here end in screaming.

I fell through the world. I’m chained in the cracks. Cold iron bars between Myself and the black. Squeals in the dark Peeling my mind back, yeah.   No room to stand. No place to run. The day never dawns And piece by piece I’m undone. Far from the sun. Far from the sun. Far from the sun.   I’m caveblind and numb. I’m filthy and raw. Bloody palms fumbling Through caverns I crawl. Weird ghostly forms Surround me in fell swarms, yeah. I break from my cage. It’s cold to the touch. With steel in my hands, today My fight’s just begun.   Far from the sun. Far from the sun. Far from the sun. SOLO Far from the sun. Far from the sun. Far from the sun. With nails and with teeth By muscle and bone Through force and through guile I got out alone. The Stygian Road Etched in black stone, yeah. A voice seems to speak As I start to run: “You’ll long for your chains Before your journey is done.” Far from the sun. Far from the sun. Far from the sun. Far from the sun. Far from the sun.

Punch the goblin in the head. Punch the goblin til he’s dead. Cut their necks with sharpened swords. Cut them til there are no more. Save the townsfolk from the horde. Save them from the demon lord. Next week they’ll forget our name, Least until we earn our fame. Add some new Bits to our Necklace of Orc ears Hole up At the Bar and Drown ourselves In piss-warm beer. We’re Murder Hobos, Wandering warriors. Murder Hobos, Building our cred. Just so you know, We can’t eat exposure. Pay what you owe Or we’ll cave in your head. Find the trickster on the trail. He knows how to find the grail. “Answer you these questions three, Then I’ll show you where it be.” Roll your eyes and give a moan. Tell him you’ll go on alone. Put a claymore through his face. Take his map, pick up the pace. Find the grail Once we teach Orcs how To fear. Take it To the bar and Fill it up With piss-warm beer We’re Murder Hobos. Pay us in copper. Murder Hobos. We can’t make change. Don’t be a dildo. We’ve got a warlock. She’ll make your ass glow If you’re in casting range. Our folks’ pre-occupation Is to share their observations On our perceived limitations Vis a vis wealth generation, But in past administrations One could get an education For the base remuneration Of a hand ejaculation, So we sell our ministrations, Which sometimes involve predation… Or else Defenestration, And, in some instances, castration, So they can cram their expectations And fucking fuck matriculation. We‘re doing fine within our station In this crumbling civilization. SOLO Punch the goblin in the head. Punch the goblin til he’s dead. Cut their necks with sharpened swords. Cut them til there are no more. Save the townsfolk from the horde. Save them from the demon lord. What’s the matter with these geeks? We just did this shit last week. Add some more Bits to our Necklace of Orc ears. We’re so Damn sick of Drowning ourselves In piss-warm beer. We’re Murder Hobos, Wandering warriors. Murder Hobos, Building our cred. Just so you know, We can’t eat exposure. Pay what you owe Or we’ll cave in your Murder Hobos. Murder Hobos. Murder Hobos. Murder Hobos. We’ll be broke til we’re dead.

She’s a faun of seven tines, A winter storm above the pines, New frost on blooming Columbine. In the dark, her dagger shines. She’s a fire in the deep, A burning vein where cinders leap. She’s a snowbound winter’s keep –
A glowing hearth, a dreamless sleep. She says she’s a queen. I don’t see it. A violence machine. Best believe it. She’s all horns and teeth, And I don’t want to be the one Who tells Her she can’t rule the universe. Go go Go go Temerity! Go go Go go Temerity! Go go Go go Temerity! Don’t make me the one to tell her She can’t rule the world. She’s a whirl of flashing knives An engine made for ending lives With demons who cares who survives No orphaned kids or widowed wives She’s an end to all facades. A knowing smirk before the gods. A love for overwhelming odds. For friends no end of sweet applause. PRE-CHORUS 2 She’s a fae-born queen. You can see it. A dream in velveteen. Best believe it. She’s more than horns and teeth, And who am I to be the one To tell Her she can’t rule the universe. Go go Go go Temerity! Go go Go go Temerity! Go go Go go Temerity! I won’t be the one to tell her She can’t rule the world. Go go Go go Temerity! Go go Go go Temerity! Go go Go go Temerity! I won’t be the one to tell her She can’t rule the Go go Go go Temerity! Go go Go go Temerity! Go go Go go Temerity! I won’t be the one to tell her She can’t rule the world.

Horns sound Over the walls, and All round Guardsmen are called. The whole town, Cast in a pall Like something from a dream. Black wings Beating the wind As dark things Feed on our sins, With vile kings, Pale and thin, And all the children scream. All the children scream. All the children scream. They ride Ride Ride With cold and hungry eyes. Ride Ride Ride When breaks the demon tide. Sharp nails Tear at the doors, And walls fail, Coming unmoored, As minds fail. Deafening roars from jaws as dark as coal. Bug black Skittering waves. The streets crack, Turning to graves. Yell, “Fall back!” They wail and rave and feast on living souls. Feast on living souls. Feast on living souls. They ride Ride Ride With cold and hungry eyes. Ride Ride Ride When breaks the demon tide. Hold! Form your ranks and hold! Grab a spear! Be bold! Get your shields up High and stem the tide! Drive! Push them back now, drive! Buy your families time To load the boats and Run to save their lives! Run to save their lives! Run to save their lives! Run to save their lives! They ride Ride Ride With cold and hungry eyes. Ride Ride Ride When breaks the demon tide. They ride Ride Ride With cold and hungry eyes. Ride Ride Ride
